Winter & Snow

Step into a snow-covered world beyond imagination

Experience Lapland’s winter at your own pace, from the deep Arctic darkness of January to the long, snow-filled days of spring.

A different side of Lapland in every winter month.

Our Winter and Snow Breaks run from January to April, with each month offering a different way to experience Lapland. January is the coldest and darkest, revealing the deep Arctic at its most dramatic. From February, the daylight extends quickly, and by April you can enjoy long, bright days with excellent snow conditions. Ski, mush your own husky team, meet the reindeer, explore by snowmobile or walk through the wilderness on snowshoes. Ideal for families and couples, every break is tailored to your wishes, whether you prefer days on the slopes, an action-packed Arctic adventure or a more relaxed pace.

A Bucket-List Adventure

More than 200 kilometres north of the Arctic Circle, Lapland gives you the rare feeling of being truly immersed in the wild. Travel through silent forests where snow-laden trees bend beneath the weight of winter, and watch huskies, reindeer and other Arctic animals not simply survive, but thrive in some of Europe’s most extreme conditions. The scale and beauty of the landscape can both inspire and humble, yet there remains an extraordinary sense of warmth and welcome throughout. It is a place that stays with you long after you return home.
